Message from the School Leaders

Dear Haverstraw Elementary Community:
October  2014
Dear Parents/Guardians,
Haverstraw Elementary School is about to begin our after-school activities for the 2014-2015 school year. Please review the activities available on the second page of this letter (open attachment below), and have a conversation with your child about their interests. These activities will take place on specific days, as noted below. Students may participate in only one activity each day.

Once you have reviewed these activities together, please use the form at the end of this letter to return to your school to inform us of any choices you have made.

Please note that these activities are voluntary.  Students are not required to stay for any after-school activity without your consent.

Most importantly, please review the attached bus routes (on pages 3/4 of this letter) that will bring children home each time they stay after school for an activity. On the form below, please indicate the bus route that your child will ride. Of course, you may also pick your child up from the activity, or give him/her permission to walk home if he is a walker.

Please return the form on page 5 to the Main Office of your childs school no later than Monday, October 27, 2014.
