Message from the School Leaders

Dear Haverstraw Elementary Community:

Our students concluded the 2013-14 school-year strong. They enjoyed their field days, the school trip, and our moving up ceremony for 6th graders. We wish them much success at Fieldstone Middle School.

Our incoming 4th grade students visited us in the Spring, and our open house for the upcoming school-year is set for August 28 at 12 pm. Also, on August 28 we will have an incoming parent information session at 7 pm. We look forward to seeing you then.

You can expect the welcome letter to arrive to your address by mid August. Please encourage your child to do his/her summer reading - visit our resources area for additional information - in order to avoid a decrease in reading skills during the summer.

We wish our families a healthy, restful summer.

Benito Herrero, Principal
Jennifer E. Luongo, Assistant Principal

Congratulations Students
